  I saw Dr. Sachs over the course of a year for pains in the ball of my foot and arches. I would not recommend him or the practice for anyone with serious issues. From my experience, you will spend more time talking to his assistants than the Dr. He is too busy rushing from one patient to the next that it seemed that he didn't do much or listen to what I had to say. When I asked him about stretches or exercises to help me recover he said there was nothing I could do. Instead he coaxed me into buying $450 orthotic inserts (not covered by insurance). These inserts were are both really uncomfortable and started to fall apart after only 2 weeks of use. When this proved ineffective he seemed to not know what was wrong but insisted on giving me steroid shots. When this didn't work he wanted me to get an expensive MRI done. At this point I gave up on him, and it's a good thing. I've since then spoken with a PT and a new pediatrist and have learned his practices are not correct. I've learned about stretches and exercises to help with healing, that the expensive orthotics he sells are poor quality and don't offer enough support, and that steroid shots like cortisone are only for drastic measures and can be pretty harmful to take. In just a few visits to other doctors I've seen much more success in recovery. It's pretty evident to me that Dr Sachs is more concerned about the money than he is about your well-being.
