- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪In the middle of the night, our cat was badly injured. The ER doctor and team expertly tended to her and put her back together, saving her life as they have previously saved some of our other pets. We're glad they're there. One point of concern, after spending over $1100 for ER care, they wanted another $50 to take out the stitches a couple weeks later. It sure seems like that should be included in the original procedure bill. Instead, our own vet (Western Animal Clinic) took the stitches out for free, saying that they never charge for suture removal, even when they didn't do the original procedure. Seems like the big hospital could learn a lesson from the little clinic.July 14, 2017by J B
